Iteriad have been working as part of GDA's team on the Outline Business Case for the New Park House Mental Health Unit at North Manchester General Hospital. The project is part of a wider campus masterplan to redevelop the whole hospital estate.

Th project is now moving into the Full Business Case stages with Vinci IHP as PSCP. The linear shaped hospital building is based on a biophilic design footprint with wing nut shaped ward units that enclose the private ward gardens.

The external landscape environment also includes a main public realm arrival space, courtyards, older adult dementia gardens and therapy spaces including external spaces to the PICU suite. The building sits on a sloping site with a single story at upper floor level to the eastern side with retaining walls along the perimeter and a two storeys with lower and upper ground floor level to the western half of the site.
