Iteriad are designing the refurbishment of the existing courtyards at Harrogate District Hospital as part of a wider internal refurbishment programme led by GDA on behalf of Harrogate District NHS Foundation Trust. The project includes the reconfiguration and redesign of two main courtyards and a roof terrace. The first phase of work includes the creation of a new accessible garden on the ground floor for the public. The design includes decked seating areas with raised planting along an accessible walkway.

 

The later phases will include the creation of a rehabilitation garden and a new outdoor dining space on the roof adjacent to Herriots Cafe.
